Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony Returns to Toronto

On June 25, 2025, the Mandle Philharmonic presents Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection” at Roy Thomson Hall—its first Toronto performance since 2019.

Conducted by Mandle Cheung, this powerful concert brings together the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Amadeus Choir, soprano Kirsten LeBlanc, and mezzo-soprano Krisztina Szabo. Known for its emotional depth and dramatic finale, Mahler’s Second Symphony is a must-hear for classical music fans and first-timers alike. The piece explores themes of life, death, and renewal, building to a breathtaking conclusion that has to be experienced live.

If you’re looking for a one-night-only music event in Toronto this summer, this is it.
