As part of our newly released Winter Guide, we’re highlighting seasonal dining experiences across the district — and Minami Toronto’s Holiday Kaiseki is one you won’t want to miss. From December 1st to 30th, Minami is offering a five-course kaiseki menu crafted by Head Chef Nao Akutagawa, bringing together premium ingredients, refined technique, and the warmth of Japanese hospitality for the holiday season.
The menu opens with a delicate Snow Crab Monaka and continues with a beautifully prepared Scallop Crudo featuring Hokkaido scallop and kaluga caviar. Guests are then treated to an artful sushi course showcasing Minami’s signature aburi style and premium cuts. A rich soy-braised pork belly follows as the main course, layered with roasted parsnip purée, charred greens, and caramel apple gastrique.


Your evening ends on a sweet note with a Vanilla Bean Cheesecake by MICHELIN-Star Executive Pastry Chef Aiko Uchigoshi, paired with white chocolate cinnamon crumble, fig and berry confiture, and matcha ice cream — a comforting winter-inspired finish.
The Holiday Kaiseki is $110 per guest, with optional wine and sake pairing for $45. Available during dinner service only from December 1st to 30th at Minami Toronto.
