Toronto’s creative community is opening its doors this fall. On Saturday, September 27 from 12–5pm, the artists of Akin Richmond-Bathurst welcome the public for an Open Studio, held as part of Ontario Culture Days, a province-wide celebration of art and culture.
Discover the Studios
Located at 579 Richmond Street West, Akin Richmond-Bathurst is home to painters, illustrators, textile artists, sculptors, and mixed media creators. The Open Studio is your chance to explore the space, meet the artists, and see their practices up close through informal talks, demonstrations, and in-studio displays.

Special Activations
Throughout the afternoon, several members will share their work through interactive experiences:
- Sarah Conway (@sarahterra.art): oil pastel portrait commissions
- Andrés Domínguez (@andresdominguez.artist): live hyperrealist painting demo + mini showcase
- Dimitra Roussakis (@di.composing): collaborative drawing and mixed media activity
- Natalie Peck: doll painting demonstration
- Sofia Berger (@sofiaberger): artist talk on colour and materiality
These activations turn the studios into a lively, interactive hub for one day only.
