Bremner Blvd Traffic Restrictions and Area Closures, Effective Immediately Due to Weather Conditions

POSTED ON April 17, 2018 BY Justine Smith

Members,

Due to concerns of falling ice caused by the recent weather conditions, the Toronto Police Service, in cooperation with public and private sector partners, has put in place the following traffic restrictions and closures, effective immediately:

1. Bremner Boulevard is closed, between Lower Simcoe Street and Rees Street
2. CN Tower – full closure
3. Steamwhistle Brewery and The Rec Room – (please contact for entrance directions)
4. Ripley’s Aquarium – full closure
5. Rogers Centre – Gates 1-6 closed

The double-header between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Kansas City Royals is scheduled to go ahead as planned. Anyone attending the Rogers Centre will have to enter and exit from the west and south side of the building.

There are no closures related to the Air Canada Centre at this time. However, anyone travelling in the area is asked to exercise patience and allow for extra travel time.

The situation is being evaluated constantly and updates will be provided as they become available. Closures and traffic restrictions are put in place to allow for the safe movement of vehicle and pedestrians.
