Pups in the Park, St. Andrew’s Playground Park: August 24 – 25
Join us for the first annual Pups in the Park, a paw-some celebration hosted in partnership with Doggie Fest Toronto! This FREE event will take place downtown Toronto at St. Andrew’s Playground Park on August 24 and 25, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in honour of International Dog Day. Meet local dog business owners, win exciting prizes, and take-in summer at this family-friendly event.
Event Highlights: (All activities are FREE and pre-registration is not required)
- The Pup Parade: Show your puppy pride at our Pup Parade, led by our mascot Paws, Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.. We encourage you to dress up your dogs in their most creative and adorable costumes to make the parade even more fun and festive!
- Meet Paws! Our Pups in the Park Mascot: Paws will be on-site to greet your furry friends Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Doggie Pool, Bubbles & Ball Pit: Let your pup cool off in a doggie pool, dive into a 63” ball pit, or chase bubbles from a bubble machine.
- Caricature Artist & Paw Print Art : Take home unique keepsakes from a dog caricature artist (Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m) and a paw print art station (open both days from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
- Photo Wall: Strike a pose at our pup-arazzi photo wall.
- Off-Leash Area: Let your furry friend socialize and make new pals in the park’s off-leash area while you enjoy the festivities.
- Giveaways and Vendors: Enjoy freebies and giveaways, games, merchandise for sale, exclusive offers, doggie gelato and puppuccinos (while supplies last), and free advice from friendly vet techs about your pet’s health and wellbeing.
