Toronto Public Health is providing a free overdose prevention, recognition and response training. In this training, you will learn about the overdose/toxic drug supply crisis in Toronto, basics in overdose prevention and recognition, and how to systematically respond to overdose in your service environment, including the use of naloxone.
The training builds capacity for City and community organizations to respond to overdose by sharing knowledge from emerging practices in community overdose response as well as experiences from The Works Harm Reduction program.
Sessions are held across the city twice per week, including January 24th, and January 30th at City Hall. Details and registration are through Eventbrite, to register or for details please click here.
