Watermain Replacement on University Avenue

Update – Watermain Replacement on University Avenue

As the coordination of the watermain project continues with various stakeholders, the City has opted to delay the commencement from the originally indicated November 13 start. In order to minimize conflicts and disruptions with both the adjacent Ontario Line Metrolinx work and the forthcoming Santa Clause Parade, the City will be deferring the project commencement to Monday, November 27.

Watermain Replacement on University Avenue

The City of Toronto will replace the watermain and the City-owned portion of substandard water services on the west side of University Avenue from College Street to 120 m north of Queen Street West. Additionally, roadway resurfacing and upgrades to the existing ActiveTO cycle track will also be completed from College Street to Dundas Street West.

During the progress of this project, we will be keen to work alongside the community during the various phases of construction.
