O Fortuna! The new season begins with Orff’s Carmina Burana, performed with chorus, soloists, and orchestra for a dramatic and unforgettable experience. Also on the program: Wynton Marsalis’s jazz-infused Concerto for Orchestra.
Specials: Lang Lang’s Emperor – A Gala Celebration

Superstar pianist Lang Lang returns to Toronto for a special one-night performance of Beethoven’s majestic “Emperor” Concerto, paired with Dukas’s whimsical The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
Pops: The Billy Joel Songbook

Celebrate the music of Billy Joel with Tony DeSare and the TSO, led by Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke. From New York State of Mind to Uptown Girl, this concert is a high-energy tribute to the Piano Man.

Masterworks: Debussy & Sibelius

Conductor Paavo Järvi leads a program of serene and grand works, from Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun to Sibelius’s Symphony No. 5. Accordion virtuoso Ksenija Sidorova joins for Kõrvits’s Concerto for Accordion and Orchestra.
