Where to Eat & Drink During TIFF 2026 in Downtown Toronto

The Toronto International Film Festival returns September 10–20, bringing screenings, premieres and plenty of excitement to Toronto Downtown West.

And there’s lots happening beyond the big screen. Restaurants, bars and hotels across the neighbourhood are getting into the TIFF spirit with limited-edition cocktails, special menus and festival-inspired experiences, alongside plenty of spots worth adding to your festival itinerary.

Whether you’re grabbing a drink before a premiere, fitting in dinner between screenings or looking for somewhere to keep the night going, here’s where to eat and drink during TIFF 2026 in Toronto Downtown West.

Earls King West

Earls is back as an official hospitality partner of TIFF, bringing a little red carpet energy to King West for the festival.

Stop by to check out a special TIFF installation outside the restaurant and order the Red Carpet Marg, a limited-edition TIFF-inspired cocktail created for festival season.

PAI Downtown

Catching a film? Make a stop at PAI Downtown before or after your screening. From September 10–20, dine-in guests who show a ticket to a same-day TIFF screening will receive a complimentary bag of Tom Yum Popcorn.

Kiin

Kiin is celebrating TIFF with a three-course, Royal Thai-inspired prix-fixe menu for $99 per person, including a glass of Prosecco.

Available throughout the festival, the special menu offers another option for a pre- or post-screening dinner just a short walk from King Street. Reservations are highly recommended.

Movies & Martinis at The Well

Dinner and a movie gets a TIFF twist at The Well. Four restaurants are offering Movies & Martinis pairings during the festival, matching a martini with a snack for an easy pre- or post-screening stop.

At Bridgette Bar, try the All About Corinne, a French Export martini, paired with Frites d’Aubergine for $20.

Lulu Bar is serving An Olive Story, its take on a Vesper Martini, alongside edamame for $24.

At La Plume, the $25 TIFF Double Feature pairs La La Lychee, made with vodka, lychee liqueur and lychee syrup, with Mia’s Frites served with truffle aïoli and Parmigiano-Reggiano.

And The Dorset is offering its own $30 TIFF Double Feature: No Time to Dry, featuring English gin, Lillet Blanc, dry vermouth, Tío Pepe and citrus bitters, paired with Albacore Tuna Toast.

L’Avenue

If TIFF plans bring you over to The Well, L’Avenue is adding several new dishes and drinks to its colourful brunch lineup.

Alongside its signature towering pancakes, new additions include the Caviar Omelette, the Thai-inspired Bobby Takes a Stroll in Bangkok, and drinks including the Coco Matcha Cloud, Strawberry Matcha and Vietnamese-style coffee creations.

There’s also plenty happening around The Well during TIFF, including live music in The Court on September 10, 16 and 17, Cheatin Hearts Line Dancing on September 11 and 18, and Sunset Salsa on September 12.

LEE Restaurant

For those looking to turn TIFF dinner into an experience of its own, LEE Restaurant is offering The Lee Experience, a multi-course sharing menu designed by Chef Susur Lee.

Available for groups of two to 14, the $150-per-person experience features a customized selection of new and signature dishes inspired by Chef Lee’s latest culinary travels and creations. Guests can leave the ordering to the kitchen and enjoy a menu selected by Chef, with wine pairings also available. And yes, LEE’s Signature Singapore Slaw is part of the experience.

LEE will also feature a selection of seasonal offerings throughout the festival.

Shangri-La Toronto

Shangri-La Toronto is celebrating TIFF throughout September with a lineup of film-inspired food and drink experiences.

At the Lobby Lounge, the TIFF 2026 Signature Cocktails take inspiration from the art of filmmaking. The lineup includes 35mm, made with popcorn-infused Redbreast 12 Year, and The Afterparty, a smoky mix of tequila, mezcal, pink peppercorn, grapefruit and lime. Cocktails start at $26, with select non-alcoholic options also available.

The annual TIFF 2026 Afternoon Tea also returns with playful takes on classic movie snacks, from popcorn and nachos to donuts and churros. The experience is available Thursday to Sunday from September 3–27 for $108 per person.

For dinner, Chef’s Cut: Director’s Edition gives bosk’s Sunday Roast Dinner a cinematic twist. The two-course experience is available Sundays from September 6–27.
