Attention CaféTO Operators on King St. W. & Duncan St.
On December 31, 2023, City Council’s approval for the extension of R58 curb lane café permits on Duncan Street and within the King Street Transit Priority Corridor will expire. City staff are recommending to City Council that existing and new curb lane cafés inside the King Street Transit Priority Corridor and on Duncan Street, south of Richmond Street West, be incorporated into the outdoor dining CaféTO program. The proposals for changes to CaféTO in 2024, are outlined in the staff report titled, Curb Lane CaféTO Program. Please see attached City letter for full details.
Businesses participating in CaféTO in 2024 are required to connect with the BIA with their plans. Please reach out to Anojan Sathasivam to address this urgent matter.
