It’s TIFF season everyone! Toronto’s Entertainment District will once again be buzzing with activity thanks to the 48th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival. This month also brings the City’s free all-night celebration of arts, Nuit Blanche. So don’t fret, there’s loads to get excited about, despite the fact that the Summer has somehow mysteriously already flown by! (Pumpkin spice, let’s goooo!)


Anime Toronto – September 1-3

Meet and interact with renowned voice actors, anime creators, and industry professionals at Anime Toronto. This is a unique opportunity to connect with the creators of your favorite anime series and gain insider knowledge about the industry. Anime Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre is a welcoming space for passionate anime fans to come together and share their love for the art form.


Get Active and Make Friends with Midnight Runners!

Join the Midnight Runners and lace up for a FREE 6km Bootcamp Run with music every Tuesday at 7pm. Swing by Blue Moon Brewery at Stackt Market to stash your stuff, where you’ll be met by good vibes and a fun and friendly community. Run en masse through the city, then stick around for post-run celebrations at Blue Moon Brewery at 8:30 PM. Plus, be sure to explore Festival Street for free programming and fun. Festival Street shuts down King Street West between Peter Street and University Avenue for pedestrians and celebrations, from September 7-10!


Nuit Blanche – September 23

Nuit Blanche is a free, all-night celebration of contemporary art taking place across Toronto. Explore ground-breaking projects by local, national and international artists. This year’s theme, Breaking Ground, is centred around the natural world, change and innovation.
